Admissions Home Page

 Applications for the 2024-2025 school year open in January of 2024. 
 
Age requirement for entry for grade level(s):
  • PK3 Pre-Kindergarten:  Must be 3 years old September 1
  • PK4 Pre-Kindergarten:  Must be 4 years old by September 1
  • Kindergarten: Must be 5 years old by September 1
  • First Grade:  Must be 6 years old by September 1
 
1. Create an Account 
 
Complete the Application Packet online and pay the non-refundable application fee.
  • To begin the Application Packet online, Create an Account here. From there, you will be instructed to create a login, password, and verify your email via a message to your email account. 

2. Start Application

Click on "application" at the top of this page to begin the online application.  You have the flexibility to log in and out of your account without losing your data as it will autosave. There will be a green check mark for each section that you have completed all required fields. 

3. Review and Submit and Pay Application Fee

Once all required fields of the online application are complete, you must select " CLICK HERE Review and Submit." You will then be instructed to pay the $100 application fee ($200 for international applicants).

Please note: Many forget the final step which is to " CLICK HERE Review and Submit." You will receive a confirmation email that it has been submitted and received by FBCA.  If you do not, it is not submitted and you have not completed all steps.  

4. Request/Submit Required Documents

Most required documents will be uploaded into the application before submitting.  Those that are not already uploaded will be required to be emailed to alice.thompson@fbcatx.org in order for the application to be considered for admissions.

5. The Admissions Committee will review all application information. Parents will be notified of the decision to move forward with admissions testing.  We will set up a testing time with our test administrator for the student to come onto campus. Testing generally takes about 2 hours. 

6. Shortly after testing, parents will be notified of the Admissions Committee approval or non- approval to move forward to an interview for the parents and student with school administrator(s). This is an opportunity to discuss policies and answer any questions about the school.

7. Following the interview, parents will be notified of the child’s approval for admission, non-approval, or placement into our waiting pool. 

8.  Upon notification of approval, the parent will complete the online Enrollment Packet.

Immunization Records will be uploaded into the enrollment packet, showing the child has had all the State of Texas required immunizations. Students cannot be admitted until complete immunization records are received.

9. Student admission is conditioned upon meeting all requirements outlined in the handbook. When admission is approved and all fees received, then the student is officially admitted.
